Jillian Michaels' 30-Day Shred Workout DVD: Results After 20 Days

I have been working out with Jillian Michaels using the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred Workout system for 20 days now. You can view my original article where I review the basic 30 Day Shred DVD here and you can see my results after working out with the system for 10 days here.

During days 11-20, I alternated between the level 1 workout and the level 2 workout. The level 2 workout of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred is a huge jump in intensity and difficulty from level 1. I was completely surprised, however, how quickly my body adapted to the level 1 workout. While completing level 1 of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred is still difficult, it has become remarkably easier. So I decided to alternate between levels 1 and 2. So far, level 2 still really kicks my butt every time! My legs and arms feel like jell-o and I am dripping with sweat in my 64 degree house after each workout on level 2 of Jillian Michaels” 30 Day Shred.

After 20 days using Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, I have increased my strength tremendously. I am able to perform 5 standard (male) push-ups on day 20 of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. At day 1 I could not do a single one! This increase in strength has really impressed me. I get less winded carrying my two year old upstairs and I can do my 30 minutes of free steps on the Wii fit with barely even breaking a sweat most days. But, let’s cut to the chase. What do the numbers say? After 20 days of using Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred I have lost 1inch in my hips (an increase of ¼ inch over the first ten days) and have now lost half an inch in my waist. I have also lost ¾ inch in my upper arms. I have never been a big fan of wearing sleeveless shirts, but after I finish my entire Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred 30 days, I might have to give them a try.

I have also lost another 0.2% of body fat which added to my previous body fat lost in the first 10 days of Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred, equals 0.8%. During the past 10 days I have also lost 2 ½ pounds on the scale.

This boost of results during days 11-20 have certainly motivated me to stick with Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred workout. I will continue on to through day 30 and will have an update with my final results posted to my CP Page.
